Our Story

Who We Are

Welcome to Bring Change 2 Mind (BC2M), a mental health club dedicated to supporting Fremont high school students. We provide a safe space for students to access free resources like Headspace and college counseling. Our mission is to reach out and help 100 students, promoting positive mental well-being and academic success.

Bc2m Statement

The Bring Change to Mind organization aims to eliminate negativity surrounding the discussion of mental health. Through media campaigns, youth programs, and more, BC2M encourages all ages to participate in mental health related conversations. Whether it is by sharing experiences, advocating for human rights, supporting science, amplifying voices, being an ally, or empowering the future, BC2M stands with all efforts to create a better and inclusive world. BC2M recognizes the several environmental factors that contribute to one’s mental health, especially discrimination towards identity, race, sexuality, disabilities, and diverse backgrounds. They are committed to making a difference by having special guests speak about mental health at youth programs and managing a National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. With over 520 high school clubs, BC2M has reached over 80,000 students across the country. The organization alone has reached over 2 billion people through advocacy efforts. In terms of the future, Bring Change to Mind plans to continue their efforts to create a safe society as one in four people are affected by mental illness at some point in their lives. The three main pillars BC2M works around are creating national advocacy and awareness campaigns, developing a national student-led high school club program, and building a storytelling movement that works to end the stigma in the United States.

Irvington Bc2m Statement

Irvington BC2M aims to promote mental health awareness and create a safe environment for students. Some of our activities include hosting dog therapy sessions, attending BC2M’s yearly norcal summits, and making slime during finals week. As a student-led club, we want our peers to have a distraction from the academic stress at Irvington. One of our goals is to promote the Wellness Center, where you can seek support and stress relief during school. Furthermore, we want to contribute to BC2M’s mission of creating national advocacy and awareness campaigns by hosting informational meetings about mental health. We plan to get involved in mental health issues by volunteering at a local organization regularly. Additionally, we hope to set up a Horner club and promote BC2M for middle schoolers. Overall, Irvington BC2M is working towards a healthier school year and increased involvement in mental health.
